INTRODUCTION
Diagon is an upcoming decentralized eSports ecosystem that will enable people from all around the globe to test their expertise and contest in 1v1 and group versus group matches for prominent online-based games, such as Destiny 2, League of Legends, Apex Legend, Dota 2, Counter-Strike Global Offensive and Fortnite. Diagon is building an ecosystem on the Ethereum blockchain that will run through Africa, Asia, American, Europe and Australia, thus creating an enabling environment for eSports to be embraced and Diagon's innovations will allow skill-based competition to take place independent of middlemen, such as financial institutions or casinos.
The cryptocurrency Ethereum allows for the creation of smart contracts that run business logic autonomously in the Ethereum blockchain. These smart contracts can be used for fast, secure and reliable processing of results and rewards from competitive eSports match plays. Unlike existing platforms (which are both skill and game of chance based), all of Diagon's transactions will be publicly verifiable, viewable, resistant to counterfeit, and not subject to the risk of institutional processing. SOLUTION
The eSport industry is growing massively, but the
centralized model of the transaction on the
traditional systems across all platforms hinders the
eSports industry from skyrocketing despite the
greatness it has achieved so far. Hence, the need
for a platform that promises a decentralized mode
of operation, one that will break the bottlenecks of
a central system and promise a seamless operation
for all users onboard. That's the primary focus of
the Diagon project.
Diagon will be built on the Ethereum Blockchain as
a decentralized eSports platform connecting
different continents, that allows eSports enthusiasts
to compete in their favourite games through a
decentralized, automated platform with a seamless
experience.
Diagon's decentralized ecosystem will enable all
users actively onboard our platforms to completely
take control of their funds. The payments and
payouts will be made by the individual players on
our platforms and cleared on the Ethereum
blockchain without ever being processed by a
bank or any third-party institution.
Diagon's decentralized system of operation reduces transaction and other
costs of operation. These savings will be passed on to the consumer, adding
value that competitors cannot provide. Existing centralized solutions place
consumers at risk. Players' centralized accounts and deposits can be hacked,
embezzled, or even confiscated with little recourse for those affected. With
